Education: Associates Degree in business, marketing or energy related field or substantial related and progressive job experience required.
Experience: Two (2) years experience working with energy efficiency/consumption in residential, commercial or industrial sectors.
Job Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in marketing energy services and data analysis techniques, knowledge of energy efficiency and conservation methods; knowledge and experience with problem solving, negotiation and relationship building with staff, members and the general public.
Abilities & Skills: Skill and proficiency in use of personal computers, particularly spreadsheets, presentation software, databases, word processing and Windows operating environment. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and to maintain effective working relationships with employees, the public and outside agencies; to include and outgoing assertive presentation style. A valid North Carolina's driver's license is required.
Working Conditions: Primarily an inside position with usual office conditions. Some travel within and outside the system and some work outside regular hours required. applicant must be able to travel as necessary.
